I. In the interest of ensuring occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental protection
It is essential that all external persons, i.e. employees of another employer or persons entering the premises of GALMM s.r.o. who are not employees of GALMM (carriers, drivers transporting customer materials or raw materials, employees of other companies performing contractual activities, directors and employees of other companies as customers, school students in case of an agreed excursion), receive the necessary information and instructions to ensure OHS applicable to its premises.
II. All external persons are obliged to comply with the following principles:
- a) They may enter the company premises only through the designated entrance, based on the oral or written consent of a GALMM employee.
- b) The designated employee authorizes the entry of external persons with or without a motor vehicle.
- c) External persons may stay only in areas that are pre-agreed or designated. Movement within the premises without accompaniment by a GALMM employee is prohibited.
- d) Persons under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or psychotropic substances are not allowed to enter the company premises. In doubtful cases, they may be asked to undergo a breathalyzer test.
- e) If personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the premises, external persons must use it. Without PPE, they are not allowed to perform work.
- f) Handling of materials up to 50 kg is done manually; for heavier weights, a forklift must be used.
- g) Work during unloading and loading is supervised by the designated leading employee or warehouse manager. Materials must not be handled without the supervision of a responsible GALMM employee.
- h) Only properly instructed and qualified persons may handle chemical substances and preparations. Any damage to packaging must be reported immediately to a GALMM employee.
- i) Every injury or health hazard must be reported immediately by external persons to the employee to whom they were assigned.
- j) External persons are not allowed to use GALMM equipment without permission.
III. Environmental protection principles (EP):
- a) They must not use equipment that is technically unfit or harmful to the environment.
- b) They must not produce hazardous waste (HW) during their activities; if HW production is unavoidable, they must handle it in accordance with applicable laws.
- c) Any threat to the environment, accident, or leakage of hazardous substances must be reported immediately to a GALMM employee.
- d) They must not perform activities that have not been agreed upon and approved by the responsible GALMM employee.
All external persons are obliged to follow the instructions of GALMM employees and the principles stated in this guideline.
